Community Living hosts egg hunt

CAYUGA—More than 120 Easter egg hunters from under 2 to 11-years-old descended on River Road in Cayuga on Saturday, April 12, 2025 to participate in the second annual Community Living Haldimand’s Great Easter Egg Hunt. Participants searched for eggs, ‘eggs-changed’ them for treat bags, and enjoyed crafts, snacks, and a tour of a firetruck. Admission was a donation to local foodbanks. Thanks to all the volunteers, including the Fisherville Lions, for their donation and parking expertise. “A big thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy this ‘egg-ceptional’ experience. See you next year!” said spokes-rabbit Peter Cottontail. Shown above, Bear Chaston poses with the Easter Bunny. —Submitted photos.
