Peacefully, The Lord in His infinite wisdom called unto Himself his child Bonnie, from Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Bonnie (nee De Vries), dearly beloved wife for nearly 60 years of John Haverkamp. Loving mother of Elaine (Henry) Prinzen, Andrea (Ed) Glasbergen and Ron (Marcia) Haverkamp. Proud Grandma of Steve (Victoria) Prinzen, Jeremy Prinzen, Rebecca Prinzen, Seth Prinzen, Brad (Becca) Glasbergen, Greg (April) Glasbergen, Daniel Glasbergen, Nicole (Shane) Park and Jessica (Jesse) Dunn and great grandma of Parker, Levi and Estella. Dear sister of Ann (Dave) Rawcliffe, Christine (Auke) Bylsma and Clara (John) West. Bonnie was a dedicated volunteer at Parkview Meadows, especially enjoying her role in the tuck shop, a role which she loved. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral for Bonnie will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 139 Talbot Street East, Jarvis on Tuesday, July 29 at 2 p.m. (The service will be livestreamed on the church YouTube channel and available through the funeral home website for those who are unable to attend in person.) Interment Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jarvis. If desired, donations to Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
