SPRINGVALE—Autumn may have just started, but the people at Springvale United Church were busy with their annual Turkey Dinner on September 30, 2025.
SPRINGVALE—Some of the faces that greeted guests as they entered the Springvale United Church’s annual Turkey Dinner were Barb Zdunich, Bob McKeen, Otto Kauk, Norma Buckburrow, Betty Schweyer, Rev. Peggy Bartlett, and Al Winger.

With a sellout of 200 dinners, an adult meal consisted of your choice of light or dark meat, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, and coleslaw. To satisfy the sweet tooth, for dessert they had 12 varieties of pie and cheesecake with assorted sauces.
The church would like to remind everyone about their famous cookie tray, chili, and cabbage roll sale coming up on November 26, 2025, and their Ham and Turkey Dinner in the spring of 2026.
They would like to thank everyone who bought a supper and their dedicated volunteers – it was that collective support that made this major fundraiser for the church a success.
