It is with great love and sadness that we share the passing of Michael Christopher Clayton Robins, at the age of 64. It was time for him to be with his heavenly Father and reunite with his dad (Clayton), his brother (Terry), and his nephew (Clayton), where the grass is green, the water is blue, and the fishing never ends. Mike leaves behind his devoted mother, Ann; his sister, Colleen (husband Dave, Mike’s best friend); nephews Chris (Britt), Dan (Cinzia), and Dustyn; and great nephews and a great niece who will miss him dearly. A lifelong fan of the Toronto Blue Jays—“Go Jays Go”—and the Maple Leafs, Mike’s enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his warmth and humour. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his furry companion, Addy, who watched over him fiercely and filled his days with love and joy. During the past two years, Mike made his home at RVilla Caledonia Retirement Living, where he found friendship, laughter, and wonderful care from the staff who treated him like family. Mike will be deeply missed, but knowing he has been welcomed by loved ones brings comfort to those he leaves behind. His family cherishes countless happy memories, especially the many cruises he enjoyed with his mom and sister and will hold them close forever. Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at RVilla Caledonia Retirement Living, Dr. Blake, Dr. Randazzo, and the team at West Haldimand General Hospital (Hagersville), and the ICU team at Norfolk General Hospital (Simcoe), with special gratitude to Dr. Kennedy for his exceptional warmth and care for both Mike and our family.
