It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan James Touesnard in his 77th year on December 2, 2025. Ivan was married to the late Marlene (McBride) for over 52 years. He was the loving father of Louise (John) Townsend and the late Lisa (Wayne) Pender. Ivan will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Alyssah, Lindsay, and Braden. Ivan was born in River Tillard, Nova Scotia, to parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Stone). Brother to Millie (Fred), late John, late David, late Betty Ann (late Wilfred), Tony (Judy), Lorraine (late Patrick), Ernie (Vicky), Albert (late Janice), Wayne (Edwina), Phyllis, Martin (Betty), Marilyn (Roy), Laura (Carl), Lesley (Kenneth), and Mary Ellen. Dear brother-in-law to Wayne (Lisa) McBride, and the late Dwight (late Donna) McBride. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ivan worked many years as a truck driver. Even after retirement, Ivan continued to work for Haldimand Commercial Maintenance. The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.
