Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday May 11, 2026. Doris passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Edgewater Gardens Dunnville in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Fay Fess (1996). Dear mother of Dawn and Ted Swent, Janet † and Ray †, Weaver, Vicky and Ernie Touesnard, Christine and John Lamb. Loving Grandmother of Jamie (Mike), Kim (Jeff), Mark (Becky), Aaron (Lisa), Joel, Robin (Darren); Dan and Russ (Kim). Doris was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Clifford (Barbara) and sister in laws Gladys and Reta. Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Doris was a long time dedicated member of Selkirk Christian Chapel. She had a deep love for God and her family and was a great example to all. She was loved by everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Edgewater Gardens for the wonderful care she received.
Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
