OPP Brief: Police seeking public’s help with fraud investigation in Dunnville

DUNNVILLE — Police are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying an individual related to a fraud investigation.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026 at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Haldimand OPP received a report of a fraud from a business on Broad Street East in Dunnville. The investigation has determined an unknown individual attended the location and by deceit obtained a quantity of Canadian currency before departing on foot.

Police are seeking to identify the person in this photo, described to be: a white male, 5’10”, approximately 35 years of age, with a medium length beard, wearing glasses, a Louis Vuitton ball cap, a white Jordan t-shirt, jean shorts, and slide shoes. As of publication, no charges have been laid nor proven in court.
