It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Paul Slack-Best. Paul was taken far too soon at the age of 31 and will be dearly missed by his parents, Kate and Jay Hagan and Ken Best and Robin Sherk. The loving brother of Jenna Hagan and Kyle Best, and special cousin to Shantelle. Beloved uncle to Mariyah and Alaya. Grandson of the late Richard and Mary Slack, Jim and Cathey Hagan, and the late Linda and Howard Best. Nephew of Richard Slack, Joe Slack, Spike, Ron Best, Jim Best, Jeff and Kerstin Hagan, Pat and Bill Moore, Darlene Best, and Susan Reynolds. Cousins Christopher, Brittney, Matthew, Braelyn, Mckenna, Michelle, and Andrew. He will be dearly missed by best friend Charles Seymore and dear friends Devon Hinkley, Bryer Hartnett, and Darryl Dawdy. The family will honour his life with a Funeral Service at Hyde and Mott Chapel, Hagersville, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow at Springvale United Church.
