FISHER, Joan Marie
Joan Marie Fisher (née Bartlett), 76, formerly of Jarvis, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee. She was born on June 9, 1950, in Hagersville to the late Ross Paul Bartlett and Amy Pearl Bartlett (née Reynolds). Predeceased by her husband Paul William Joseph Fisher in 2012. Loving mother of Robin Fisher (of Parts Unknown), Wendy (Greg) Cavano of Napanee, and Eric Fisher (Nicole Scherbina) of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Nathan and Jack Cavano. Dear sister of Joyce Higgins (the late Douglas) of Hamilton, Robert (Nancy) Bartlett of Brantford, Roger (Ann) Bartlett of Dunnville, Richard (the late Lee) Bartlett of Nanticoke, and Janice (Chris) Loveday of Jarvis. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. Joan trained and worked as a Registered Nurse in Hagersville, Ontario, before moving to Toronto to raise her family. She will be remembered for her caring nature, warm smile, and contagious laugh. Family and friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service at 12 p.m. will be followed by a reception.
