Hagersville youth arrested for robbery

HAGERSVILLE—A 17-year-old male youth from Hagersville has been charged following a robbery at Circle K in Hagersville on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

OPP investigation determined that at approximately 3:12 a.m. that day a male suspect entered the business where he confronted the female clerk and brandished an edged weapon. The male suspect demanded cash from the clerk and then fled the area on foot with a quantity of Canadian currency.  Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit attended the area to assist with the search and investigation.
