HAGERSVILLE—The Hagersville Chamber of Commerce hosted a work party this weekend, calling on volunteers to help install new tabletops on four picnic tables at the Hagersville Farmers Market. Workers had to lift the roof off the tables and remove the existing, rusted tabletop before replacing it. Bill Esselment took on the task of replacing the seats on the tables earlier last week. “Thanks to Bill Esselment, Scott Held, Kyle Esselment, Rob Phillips, Brenda Gallant, and Wil Banda for their volunteer efforts, as well as to Tim’s Tires for the use of their forklift to lift the roof structure off each table,” said the Chamber.
“Great job by all. Replacing the ends on the park benches is the next project!”
