HAGERSVILLE—Alex Dalton Golf Days came together on August 21 and 22, 2021 through the generosity and kindness of Dean Warren (Owner) and Mark Hill (Manager) of Sandusk Golf Course, who reached out to Steve Slack to help raise funds and awareness for the Alex Dalton GoFundMe.

A small committee was formed, and the Golf Days became a reality. Beyond raising funds and awareness, it was a time for family and friends to celebrate Alex’s short life through playing a sport he had come to enjoy. Alex was struck and killed on April 23, 2021 a block from his home in Hagersville by a hit-and-run driver who has yet to be held responsible for this horrific incident. In addition to the GoFundMe that is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest, there has been an ongoing Purple Ribbon Campaign with related events to raise awareness for Peace and Justice for Alex and his family and friends.
