HALDIMAND—Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue’s founder and Animal Welfare Watch (AWW) member Brenda Thompson is organizing an animal advocate rally at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in Toronto on March 20, 2019 “to show our government we will not tolerate animal abuse in Ontario.”
The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) announced March 4 that they would no longer be enforcing animal welfare laws as of April 1, 2019. Thompson and AWW hope the government will consider the following:
