The tomato spinach pasta is a nice combination of fresh ingredients that is easy to make. Extra flavour is created by using the oil drained from the sundried tomatoes in it.
When I saw this recipe for corn chip salad, I knew I had to try it. I love the crunchiness of the corn chips and the bacon bits add a bit of smokiness with the cranberries creating some sweetness. It, too, is a great combination of ingredients. Be sure to add the corn chips just before serving it so they don’t get soggy. The recipe as shown makes 12 servings.
I previously shared a recipe for chow mein noodle cookies and this recipe is quite similar except that it uses peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch ones. I made the noodle cookies recently for a friend, Russ Savage, who was working on fixing a leak in my roof and his family liked them. He suggested that they would be good with pretzels, so I tried that. I intended to use pretzel sticks but was unsuccessful in getting any at our local stores, so I used the larger pretzel twists. I simply broke them up into much smaller pieces and stirred them in with the peanuts. I liked them much better when made with the pretzels as the salt added extra flavour with the other ingredients.
