I saw this recipe for asparagus feta salad in a magazine a few weeks ago and have made it three times since. The first time I made it exactly as the recipe stated and the second time I added the orange pepper and niblet corn to the mixture and really liked it a lot. This week when I made it again I added frozen, thawed broccoli pieces that I drained well and squeezed gently in paper towel to remove some of the water from them. It was certainly a very good combination of vegetables and I would make it any of these ways again.
A reader sent me the other recipes shown. The turkey burgers can be grilled or baked in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes before flipping, then bake another 5 to 10 minutes or until a meat thermometer shows 170 degrees. The bourbon BBQ sauce and Caesar mayonnaise are both easy to make. The BBQ sauce pairs very well with grilled beef or pork and the Caesar mayonnaise is great with the turkey feta burgers or any other kind of barbecued or baked burger.
