I have included a couple more ‘mug’ recipes as per a request from a couple of weeks ago. I have not tried either of them. I have not been able to do much baking and very little cooking and it was really annoying me, so when a reader sent me this recipe for beer bread and I saw that it only had 6 ingredients and seemed really easy to make, I did exactly that! I really liked the flavour, although I found it to be a little on the heavy side. I would certainly make it again, though. I found this recipe for spaghetti with ham and brie in a Food Network magazine and as brie is a favourite cheese of mine, I decided to try it, too. The original recipe called for a chopped shallot, but as I didn’t have any I used a medium onion and it worked out well. It is definitely a dish I will make again.
