Jenn Marks of York has shared some delicious recipes with me recently. Last week she sent this Bailey’s cheesecake recipe. I tried it and it is really delicious. I didn’t have any Oreo crumbs on hand, but I did have a package of Oreo thins so I simply made the base by putting one in the bottom of each muffin cup with good success. 

This recipe for grilled honey lime chicken was sent to me by Pat Jenkins of Glanbrook area in answer to my request for more grilled dishes for summer. I have not made it; I think it sounds like a nice combination of ingredients. I may even try baking it in the oven at 350 until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees.

I saw these instructions for grilling steak in a Food Network magazine and thought I should share them as they are very basic and good to follow.

Random Acts of Kindness include my granddaughter, Cammie, and my friend Michelle both helping me out during my ‘do nothing’ time following cataract surgery. A reader told me that he saw a kind person pay for a stranger’s groceries at one of our local grocery stores. Friends took dinner (and wine) to Lois Douglas after her recent hospitalization.
