One of our readers, Tom Dragomautz, sent these two pasta/sausage recipes to me. Tom likes to buy locally and he used Teal’s garlic sausage in the sausage and mushroom pasta and Gourmet Meats’ cheese and leek sausage in the other one. He created both recipes and as he explained, he tried both companies’ sausage products by themselves first. He and his wife really liked the finished dishes. Both dishes are fairly simple to make and have minimal ingredients. Tom roasts the mushrooms but said that they probably could just be sautéed. Tom used penne pasta in the garlic sausage recipe and farfalle pasta in the cheese and leek one. His caramelized onion flatbread sounds delicious, too. Thanks, Tom, for sharing these with us.
