These cheesy drop biscuits are easy to make and really tasty. When I made them I used extra old cheddar cheese but you could use whatever kind you prefer. If you don’t have self rising flour on hand, for each cup of flour you can put 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder and ½ teaspoon salt in a cup and then add flour to equal 1 cup.
The lemon pasta is very quick and easy to make. I saw the recipe in an advertisement for Boursin cheese, but really any kind of soft herbal cheese would work. It suggested using herbs of your choice so I used a bit of Italian seasoning and some basil and really liked the result.
In answer to a recent request for some recipes for two, I went to my Bachelor’s Guide to Cooking cookbook and found these. Although I can’t eat fish, I thought this salmon steak recipe looked really good. I did make the hamburger cabbage dish and simply scrubbed my potatoes well and didn’t peel them and I found the result to be very good. I would certainly make this dish again.
