With September being National Chicken Month, I decided to share some chicken recipes. I tried this recipe for chicken breasts in sour cream using a generous cup of fresh mushrooms instead of the canned ones. I simply washed and sliced them. The recipe as shown makes 4 servings and is good when served over rice.
I found this recipe for Japanese chicken wings in a cookbook that Barb James of the Cayuga area gave to me. She gave me some old cookbooks of her mother’s and I have found some excellent recipes that I will share later. I haven’t tried these yet, but I hope to soon. The recipe suggested serving them with rice and stir-fried vegetables.
The mustard chicken is a recipe that I have made previously and really liked. I use almost a full cup of cream as I prefer lots of sauce.
The sweet Hawaiian Crockpot chicken is very easy to make as it has very few ingredients. This recipe was sent to me by my friend, Sylvia, who enjoyed it during a recent trip to visit her friend in Newfoundland.
