It is that time of year that I often make things using canned pumpkin.

Recently I made pumpkin apple muffins and really liked them when still slightly warm with my morning coffee.

I got this maple pumpkin pie recipe from my friend, Judy Moore, and it is a good one. The maple syrup is a great addition to pumpkin pie as it adds an excellent flavour.

I have not made the pumpkin spice cupcakes this year, but I made them last fall and I remember that they were really delicious.

I intend to try the cheesecake very soon but have not done so yet. I trust that it is a good one though, as I found the recipe in a St. Joseph’s Hospital cookbook that was comprised of all those family favourites.
