Over the years I have enjoyed the celery bread at the Cove Room in Port Dover. When I was recently going through a Guide to Dining in Haldimand Norfolk booklet I saw this recipe and just had to share it. The recipe as shown only used three slices of bread, but you could easily double it. Be sure to use celery seed, not celery salt, for the best results.
Many people continue to barbecue during the colder months so I am sharing these sauce recipes for hamburgers. I have not tried either of them, but they both look interesting. The cheese sauce contains four different varieties of cheese and a bit of hot sauce, so I imagine that it has a bit of a bite. I thought the combination of ingredients in the other one looked great, too.
The sticky hoisin sesame ribs is a recipe that I got from the Ontario Pork Producers. This recipe as shown suggests that it serves 4 to 6 people. It also suggests serving them with a crunchy coleslaw as a side dish.
