With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Walter Neale Armstrong on January 25, 2025, in his 82nd year. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Isabel Armstrong, and his brothers, Roy and Verne, Walter leaves behind cherished memories with his sister, Margaret Hoover (the late Morris). Walter is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Pauline; his loving children, Neale (Savini), Kathy (Robert), and Dean (Jennifer) and his treasured grandchildren, David, Katie, Jesse, Maddi, Tyler, and Callista, and was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Walter retired from Stelco as a payroll supervisor in 1999, yet his lifelong passion as a beef farmer remained central to his identity. He proudly served for many years as President of the Haldimand Cattleman’s Association, demonstrating his commitment to the agricultural community. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Parkview Meadows for their exceptional care during Walter’s brief stay, and to Steve Armstrong for his unwavering love and support in recent years.
