It’s with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Dorothy Joan Beemer (Ryan) on April 16, 2026, in her 87th year. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, Owen Beemer (2015). She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lisa Spenler (Shawn) and Laurie Fehrman (Terry). Dear grandmother to Megan and Ryan Spenler and Zack and Tyler Fehrman. Cherished sister to Marilyn Ozog (†Tony), Jim Ryan (†Judy), and Allan Ryan. She will be sadly missed by her many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a long-time devoted member of the Caledonia Congregational Church and enjoyed socializing with many friends in the community through her countless activities, especially “The Gang”. Donations in Dorothy’s honour to the Caledonia Food Bank or the Haldimand-Norfolk Senior Support Services would be greatly appreciated.
