
In Loving Memory of Brian ‘Howie’ Constable. Brian Ernest Constable, 77, of Cayuga, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. He was born May 17, 1948, in Hamilton to Ruby (Ashbaugh) and Ernest Constable. He married his love, Marilyn (Campbell), in 1970, and they had two children, Adam and Aaron (Jackie). He apprenticed and made a career as a Pipefitter and Project Estimator until retirement. He had a love and passion for sports: playing, coaching, and spectating. A coaching highlight was guiding the 1985 Glanbrook Little League baseball team to a Canadian Championship and entry into the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his two children, grandchild (Rhys), and sister Betty; brothers-in-law Howard (Sharon) Campbell and Ian (Linda) Campbell; and sister-in-law Hilary Klingbeil. He will be remembered fondly by nieces and nephews of the Constable and Campbell families, as well as friends made through a lifetime of work, sports, and retirement at his cottage at French Bay, near Sauble Beach. He is predeceased by his spouse, Marilyn (2006); brother Bill (2003); sister Beverly (2013); mother Ruby (2007); father Ernest (1994); father-in-law James Campbell (2003); mother-in-law Marie Campbell (1984); brother-in-law Robert Klingbeil (2019); and nephew Rob Klingbeil (2022).As per his wishes, there will be a private observance to be carried out by his two sons.
