Suddenly on Sunday, January 7, 2024 with his daughter by his side. Predeceased by his parents, John and Judy and brother, Jeff. Left to mourn are brother, Todd (Tracey) and daughter, Heather. In Gords younger years he was an avid outdoorsman, and even if there was no catch for the day, the stories of the one that got away were more often more entertaining. Unfortunately in Gords later years especially the last 5, he was plagued by health issues that limited his mobility and affected his quality of life, but this didn’t stop him from getting around the kitchen to cook up batches and share his dishes of cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers and his specialty “Gramma Mellens famous spicy spaghetti sauce“. R.I.P. bro. Hope the beer is cold, the fish are hitting and the sauce is spicy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
