It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Terry Day on May 28, 2026, at the age of 68. Terry was a man with a larger-than-life personality whose presence could light up any room. He was known for his unwavering loyalty, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers could always count on Terry for a helping hand, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement. Terry dedicated 41 years of service to Coca-Cola, where he built countless friendships and earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic and commitment. Beyond his professional career, he proudly served his community as a Captain with the Volunteer Fire Department in Fisherville, Ontario. His dedication to protecting and serving others reflected the selfless nature that defined his life. Above all else, Terry cherished his family. He took exceptional care of the people he loved and found great joy in spending time with them. His love, guidance, and support will continue to live on through those who knew him best. Terry is lovingly survived by his son, Ryan Day; his beloved grandchildren, Grayson and Jacelyn; his brothers, Danny, Keith, and Randy; and his sisters, Joanne, Nancy, Charlene, and Patricia. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, his best friend Bill, countless other friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 164 (5 Alma St N, Hagersville, ON) on Saturday July 4, 2026 from 12-4 PM. Terry’s legacy is one of compassion, service, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard.”
