Suddenly and peacefully from her home, the Lord called unto Himself, His beloved child Diane (nee Nykamp) on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in her 86th year. Diane was the loving wife of Harry for over 60 years. Dear mother of Suzanne and Roger Hogeveen, Darryl Fledderus and Jackie and Mike Veit. She was the proud grandmother of Shayla (Jon), Alex, (Rachel) Adam, Jaiden, and Owen and great-grandmother of Roman, Aleena, Isaiah, Avalynn, Judah, Emmy, and Alisa. Sister and sister-in-law of †John and †Tryn Nykamp, †Jack and †Gerry Vander Schaaf, †Tonia Hiemstra, †Dick and Grace Nykamp, Bill and Jessie Fledderus, Ralph and Hilda Fledderus, †George Fledderus, †Diane and †John Admiral, †Tina and †Garry Huizinga, Andy and Gail Fledderus, †Marianne Fledderus and Grace and Arie Bouma. Friends were invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Following a private interment service at Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery, a memorial service for Diane was held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 139 Talbot Street East, Jarvis on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to Jarvis Community Christian School would be appreciated by the family.
