December 13, 1924 – April 25, 2026
After a long and fulfilling life with an abundance of memories, Jean passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 101 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Thomas Munroe; her sister, Doris James; her daughter, Peggy Pinnegar (1984); and her husbands, Victor Goodfellow (1981) and Charles Stevenett (1997). She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Pridmore (Eric, 2020); her grandsons, Ian and David (Pamela); her great-grandsons, Harrison and Montgomery; as well as her son-in-law, Jim Pinnegar, and grandchildren, Michael, Craig, and Amy, and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, especially remembering Margaret Dring. Jean loved Dunnville and all it had to offer. She was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Women’s Institute, and Girl Guides. She worked for the Dunnville Telephone Company and, in later years, co-owned the Dunnville Florist with Agnes Hyatt. Her lifelong friends were very important, especially Marge McKee. We give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped her through her later years to allow her to stay in her house. Extra special thanks to Kevin (Deb) McKee, Richard (Barb) Adams, Bill (Maggie) Moyer, Pat Battle, and Bill (Joan) Baker. A funeral service will be held at J.W. Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. E., Dunnville, on Thursday, May 7, at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at Knox Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.jwhartfuneralhome.com.
