Suddenly and unexpectedly we sorrow greatly the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Theunis ‘Ted’ Heeg at his home on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Ted lived his life to the fullest. Ted was born September 20, 1941 in Oosterend, The Netherlands, to his parents Sjoerd Heeg and Hinke Klijnstra. Beloved husband to Johanna ‘Ann’ Heinen (July 26, 1969) for 54 years. “My beloved is mine and I am his”. Loving father of Gerald (Stacey), Sandra (Dave), Hubert (Robin) and Theodore (Amy). Proud grandfather of Hayden, Lance, Brooklyn, Brandon, Justine, Sabrina, Kirsten, Nolan, Emersyn, Braeden, Isaac and Jackson. Brother of John (Wilma) (†Mary), Harmen (Grace), †Judy (Jon VanOostveen) and Dick (Ruth). Brother-in-law to John Heinen, Joann (Henk) Derix, and Sina (Craig) McInnis. Visitation for Ted will be held at COOPER FUNERAL HOME,19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 139 Talbot Street East, Jarvis on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation or The Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated by the family.
