Peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Margaret Higson. Loving husband of 48 years to Kathy. Devoted dad to Andrea (Chris) and Jeremy (Taylor). Brother to Greg (Steph), Jim (Ann), Mark (Gloria) and Dan (Carol). His greatest joy was being the proudest Poppa to his grandchildren Quinn, Sawyer and Beckett. Survived by his sister-in-law Dale. Predeceased by his brother Dave and sister-in-law Bev. Jeff retired from Stelco Nanticoke, in 2009. Jeff was active in minor sports in Hagersville for many years. He coached baseball and hockey as well as convening tournaments. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration Of Jeff’s Life will take place at Branch # 164 of the Royal Canadian Legion, 5 Alma Street, Hagersville on Saturday October 26, 2024 from 2 – 4 p.m. SERENITY BURIAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 361 Main Street, Port Dover (226) 290-9093 have been entrusted with the arrangements.
