Passed away at the West Haldimand General Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 2024 as a result of an accidental fall, John Hoover in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 72 years to Leola (Weaver) Hoover. Loving father and best dad of John Jr. (Leslie), Beverly, Gary (Bruna), Patricia, Jeanette (Blair), and Janice (Tracy “Chuck”). Dear grandpa of Kathleen, Jenny, Andrew, Veronica, Kevin, Brianna, Michael, Geoffrey, Krista, Marchella, Stacie, Johnathan, Leslie, Rachel, Jason, Jesse, Jacob, Joshua, Victoria, Angela, Charles, Dylan, Aaron, Tiffany, 48 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of the late James and Phyllis, Muriel and the late Glenn, the late Austin and Leta, Marguerite and the late Glenn, Mary Kay and the late Bruce, Stanford and Marlene, the late Mildred, Marleen and the late Dan, and Christian and Barbara Ann. Brother-in-law of the late Betty and Martin, and Barbara Ann and Christian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Tuesday from 5-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at 11 am. Interment Cheapside United Cemetery.
