Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Tuesday May 30, 2023 surrounded by love – Peter Maurice Leonard left his earthly home. Peter was the beloved husband of the late Linda (Nolan – 2022). Cherished father and best friend to Jeff, and Paul (Jessica). He was a treasured grandpa to Shandi, Shavannah, Kattera, and Matthew. A great-great grandpa to Rayleigh. He will be missed by all. Survived by his sister Paula (John), niece Terri (Chris) and their families. Predeceased by his parents Maurice & Monica, sisters Joanie, Yvonne, and Marie. Lovingly remembered by Bonnie (Dan deceased), Lana (Ken deceased), Diane (Barry), Donna (David), and the late Nancy & Brian Nolan. Also remembered by many nieces & nephews, and a great circle of friends – Karl & Jacqueline Cavanagh, John & Violet, Betty (Neil deceased), Jim & Ann, Johnny Williamson, Ed & Gail, WendyHibbard, Jay & Yvonne, and Lynne Garn. Peter was a dedicated employee of Dofasco for over 40 years. In his retirement he enjoyed part-time employment with Simington Motors. Many thanks to the staff at Stedman Hospice, Dr. Healey, Dr. Montour, Catherine Montague from Catholic Women’s League and friends and neighbours for their support.
