It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Ron, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Pat (nee Rogers, 2013), parents, Bob and Fanny Mayor, and brother, George (Joy). He leaves behind his children, Gwen, Sherri (Jim), Scott (Sylvie), Dave (Pauline), Leanne (Dave); his grandchildren, Lisette (Nick), Brett, Marcel, Rachel (Will), Sammie, Jeff (Pattie), Julien (Casey); great-grandchildren, Harrison, Simon, Audrey, Leo, Alvin, Aurora; and sister, Ruth (Mike), and many nieces and nephews. He was a man who knew what he wanted and got it done. Fiercely loyal to family and friends, his love of horse races, the Blue Jays and, less deserving of his loyalty, the Leafs (they will win one day, Dad!). He will be remembered in our community for his long career at C.G.C. and involvement in local hockey, playing and refereeing over the years. His legacy will continue through family who miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life will take place at R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Home, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville, on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Visiting 12 – 1 p.m., service starting at 1 p.m. Luncheon at Hagersville United Church to follow.
