Charles Edward (Ed) McCarthy of Hagersville died peacefully on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at his home on Woodlawn Park Lane. Survived by his loving daughters Sheri (Mike) Harmidarow, and Christie McCarthy; dear friend of Candy Hillier; and special cousin to Ann (Brian) Aitchison; Epa to Micheal and Colt Harmidarow. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 6-8 p.m., and on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 94 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Ann’s Cemetery followed by a reception at the Hagersville Legion until 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice or Scleroderma Society of Ontario.
