It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irene. Much loved and best friend for Don of 61 years. Loving mother of Jay (Donna) and Jeffrey (Carol). Loved Grammy of Brandon, Lori (Taylor), Zachary (Krista) and Lyndsey (Preston). Great Grammy to William and Cooper. Predeceased by her parents, Hubert and Carrie Field. Sister to Carolyn Olaski. Irene was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and worked in the Operating Room for 40 years. She enjoyed golfing, curling and knitting. Her wishes were to be cremated and placed in the family plot at Port Dover Cemetery. Donations may be made to Diabetes Association of Canada.
