Passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Mary’s Hospital on October 07, 2025, at the age of 91. He is survived by his partner Mary Lynn West, children Darlene Kline, Cathy and (Bill Summerhayes), Loved by his grandchildren and their partners Jessica (Christopher), Blaire (Zach), Paige (Tom) and William (Laura), and Sam. Great-grandchildren Summer, Georgina, Jack, Harry, Colwyn, Tennyson and Billy. Floyd was born December 8,1933, lived all his life on the family farm in Hagersville. for 89 years before moving to Kitchener with family. Floyd was an electrician by trade servicing Hagersville and surrounding farming community. His hobbies included being a pilot, flying around southern Ontario, a wood craftsman, building furniture and clocks for family members. Travels throughout the world with his partner Mary. Friends and family will always remember him as an avid storyteller, talking about his adventures from his past or having interesting facts on many subjects.
