Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday March 30, 2024 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of 54 years to Carolyn. Loving father of Karen and Greg Bacher, Darren and Dana Elton-Nie. Dear Papa/Grandpa of Emma, Brianna, Rachael, Cole, Nathan and Carson. Son of the late Claude and Ulea Nie. Brother of Dorothy and Ken Burchill. Son-In-law of Doris and the late Floyd Held. Brother-In-Law of Deb Held, and Randy and Judy Held.
