Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday August 5, 2024 in his 71st year. Beloved son of Shirleyan and the late A.E. “Bud” Peart. Loving brother of Grace and Evan McKeen, and Don and Shana Peart. Special brother to Barb and brother-in-law to Drew Parkinson. Uncle to Andrea and Pat, Victoria and Davin, Emaleigh, Davin, MaKayla and John, Keaton, Isla, and Cash. Nelles enjoyed his membership in the Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. He will be missed by his family at Verolens Rest Home. Much gratitude to the late Mrs. Veronica Dunbar, her daughters Yvonne and Michelle, and all the staff for your love and care. Thanks to Mark and Laurie for your support and special outings. Even with his own struggles, Nelles always wanted to help others. He collected tabs from cans for his whole adult life to donate for wheelchairs. The family would like to continue the collection in his honour. They can be brought to visitation or any family member going forward, to be donated locally. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 11 am. (Visiting 1 hour prior to service).
