Passed away on June 14, 2026, at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville Ontario. Frank was born on October 23, 1940. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Catherine and his brother Joseph Schlichtherle. Frank taught history at Caledonia High (Mckinnon Park) until his retirement in 1996. For Frank, history is real. Sometimes you can hold it in your hand like the Depression glass he would bring to the class. He taught his students to appreciate the history revealed in the churches of Haldimand County and in the bridges that span the Grand River. Friends of Frank would like to thank all the staff at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital of Dunnville for their professionalism in caring for Frank in his last days.
