Peacefully with his family by his side at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Predeceased by his parents Jabez (Jay) and Lelah (Wilson) Slack. Loving husband of 61 years to Judy (Hoskin) Slack. Loving father of Lori Slack (Rick Meyer) and Lynda (Dave) Winger. Amazing grandpa to Nicholas, Joshua, Travis Mitchell, Jake and Riley Winger. Loving great pa to Teira, Marlee, Ronnie, Maddox and Eleanor Mitchell. Survived by his siblings Ross (Fern) Slack, Elaine Hall, Bruce Slack, brother -in-law to Jerry Swing, Jan (Rick) Phibbs as well as sister-in-law Marie Slack, Marianne Verduyn as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Gord (Olga) Slack, Ken Slack, Wray (Evelyn) Slack, Lawrence (Delores) Slack, Mary (Arnold) Howard, Gloria (Cliff) Cuthbertson, Ron Slack, Glen Slack as well as sisters-in-law Joyce Swing, Lynn Slack and brothers-in-law Keith Hall, Bob (Betty) Smith and Jim Hoskin.
