It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Maggie, on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 23. Much loved daughter of Susan and Mark, loving sister of Karin (Saminas) and Andrew (Katrina), partner to Laurent and cat-mom to Reggie. She will be missed by her extended family, friends and neighbours. Maggie cared deeply about the people and animals around her, and her love of art, fashion, writing and her endless DIY projects. She will be remembered by everyone who knew her. She was our free-spirit, and our breath of fresh air. She was such a light in this world and we will miss her beautiful, amazing presence. A visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, Ontario on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 2- 4 pm and 7-9 pm. Followed by the service in the chapel on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00 am, with internment at the Cayuga Cemetery. A reception will be held at Shelly’s Family Diner in Kohler. in lieu of flowers you may donate to causes important to Maggie, including the Terry Fox Foundation or the Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation.
