Beverly Doreen Bain Thompson passed away in her sleep in good hands at Royal Jubliee Hospital in Victoria, B.C. on June 21, 2024 in her 95th year. She leaves behind her sons Glenn (Shirley) of Parksville, British Columbia and Dale of Victoria, B.C. Grandsons Denny (Candice) and Ryan of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Great-grandchildren Reeve, Tyler, Emma and Zac, all of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Predeceased by husband Eddie (1990), parents Leo Bain (1976) and Marjorie Bain (Keefer) (1991) all of Caledonia, Ontario. Beverly moved to Victoria, B.C. in 1999 because she loved the climate and the beauty of the city. Travelling extensively throughout her life she went to Las Vegas, Arizona and Hawaii many times. She also went to Barbados, Cuba, England, Scotland, Australia, Dominican Republic, Aruba and Florida for five winters. Beverly was a member of the Caledonia Agricultural Society, a founding member of the Golden Horseshoe Antique Society and started up the Caledonia Diamonds girls hockey club in the mid 1960’s. Cremation has taken place. A small family service and interment will take place at the Caledonia cemetary at a later date.
