It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Catharina “Cathy” Tuckett on Saturday October 21, 2023. Loving sister of Martha Tuckett (Harry), Bob Tuckett (Kim), Linda Cole, Judy Ray, Jim Tuckett (Hong) and Bill Tuckett (Laura), Proud Aunt of 13 nephews and nieces, and 10 great nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Maria Magdelana “Helen” Tuckett and brother-in-law David Cole. Cathy passed away peacefully in her home at 71 years of age. She attended school at both Caledonia High and the University of Waterloo. Having worked many years in the IT Industry she had retired but kept herself busy with arts and crafts, shopping for bargains and sewing. She loved to make clothes for her nephews and nieces as well as buy them gifts. She had great talents and gave selflessly of her time and skills.
A Celebration of Life to honour Cathy will take place at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday, June 13, 2024, visitation is from 11 a.m. – 12:30 pm. Followed by the Celebration of Life service then the interment at the Hagersville Cemetery. Afterwards friends and family are invited back for a light luncheon at the Hagersville Legion, Branch 164, 5 Alma St., Hagersville.
