It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Anthony Verhoeven, who left us on October 29, 2025. He was known for his hard-working nature and his passion for business. At the heart of Lloyd’s life was his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his children, Suzette, Stephen, Kalvin, and Kristy; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Avary, and Cole. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine, and predeceased by his sister, Marjorie. In Lloyd’s own words, family meant everything. We will miss Lloyd’s personality, his hearty laugh, his love for life, and his dedication to his family, friends, and work. His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held on December 7, 2025, at the Dunnville Arena from 1 to 4 p.m.
