JARVIS—The Jarvis Lions Park provided the ideal setting for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s on May 28, 2022. Aileen Bradshaw, Director of Development for the Alzheimer’s Society of Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, Hamilton, Halton, explained that the event was the first in-person walk in two years and upwards of 150 participants were expected to participate with a goal of raising $50,000. This is the first year for the walk to take place in Jarvis. Walks were also held in Brantford, Hamilton, and Oakville on Saturday. Donations can be made for another month online at alzda.ca.
