ST. WILLIAMS—Nothing in the world excites Norfolk resident and wilderness enthusiast Adam Shoalts more than the prospect of a good adventure.
“Like many kids growing up in Canada, I loved the outdoors. I was lucky that I grew up with a forest on my doorstep…. I’d spend every chance I got out in there,” said Shoalts on the origin of his love of the outdoors. “My father was a woodworker and he taught my brother and I how to build canoes, which we paddled on backcountry trips. Fast forward to today and not much has changed, except that I now make my living doing expeditions to some of the most remote places in the world.”
