CALEDONIA—The ministry is targeting the start of construction on Caledonia’s Argyle Street Bridge for 2020, with advanced work having started in 2019. The anticipated duration of construction, including this year’s advanced work, is five years.
A construction sequence was shared at a hearing on June 21, 2019 for the Toll House property (belonging to Lorrie Harcourt) that sits at the northeast side of the bridge, which is at risk to be expropriated before bridge reconstruction begins.
The construction sequence was based on a 2015 plan for construction and is expected to be updated in the next few months.
