DUNNVILLE — Pharmacist Phil Hauser is ready to do his part in the fight against COVID-19. His business, Hauser’s Pharmacy, has been selected as one of the sites that will administer the new AstraZeneca vaccine to interested residents over the age of 55.
When news of the AstraZeneca vaccine spread, Hauser’s Pharmacy engaged the local public health unit and expressed their interest in participating in the vaccine rollout. The Ministry of Health then selected them as a vaccine site, based on need, location, and health unit recommendations.
“At Hauser’s Pharmacy we intend to ensure that we are above and beyond the minimum standards required to administer vaccines. We will have trained staff on site for every single vaccination,” said Hauser.
