Caledonia Alzheimer’s Walk raises $14K

CALEDONIA—The Alzheimer Society’s Walk for Alzheimers took place on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Caledonia Fairgrounds. The event, which had about 70 people out, raised $14,000 for the Society.

“This is the largest fundraiser of the year for Haldimand Norfolk’s Alzheimer Society,” said Alison MacKenzie, Community Development Officer for Haldimand Norfolk. She added about this year’s dreary weather, “It’s a tough day every day for those living with dementia, so what’s a little cold?”
